FAQ

How can I prepare for the show?

There is no need to prepare for the Pre-Casting or casting. Contestants that pass the casting and enter the show will get a professional social media training to feel comfortable in front of the camera. The first day of the shooting period will be a mock episode, which means that everything will be set up, played, and filmed like in a real episode, but it will not be broadcasted. This will give the contestants a good feeling of what will await them, and they are ready and prepared to shoot the first episode that will be broadcasted. Additionally, they all receive training on the tools they can use during the show (jigsaw, multimeter, etc.).

What languages should one know how to speak?

English is a prerequisite for candidates to understand each other. While speaking and understanding Luxembourgish is not obligatory, it is an advantage.

What are the prizes?

  • The contestant to win the final gets the first prize of 10.000€.
  • The second prize of 5.000€ goes to the second finalist.

Where is the shooting?

The studio-episodes will be shot in Esch Belval. There is the possibility to sleep in the youth hostel in Esch during the whole shooting.

Where does the pre-casting take place?

The pre-casting does not always take place in the same location. This year (2025), it will be held at the Lycée Arts et Métiers in Limpertsberg.

What days do I need to be available to participate?

Every candidate commits to being present on the shooting days. These are the following :

Pre-Casting: June 17th & 19th, 2025
Casting: July 2nd 2025
Studio Episodes: August 21st - 29th, 2025 & November 13th - 20th, 2025
Final:  dates to be determined

Candidates who are eliminated during the studio episodes don't need to come for the following studio episodes, but they must still be present for the final.

Do I miss a few days of school?

The candidates who make it to episodes 8-13 are excused from school for a few days. The production handles the necessary procedures with the Ministry. The following days fall within the school term:
